Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Lamczyk in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Palsma to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Teófilo Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Wessel came out of the goal and Teófilo Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th play minute Kip William came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan Wessel. 1-0. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip William in the 18th minute of the match. The throw-in from Stelian Avram in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla. The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Soin, made in the 20th minute of the game. Guillermo Soin's late challenge caught a The Underdogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Soin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, La Acade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Soin to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Acade's goalkeeper Blas Aritza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when La Acade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Avram didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Vistruario in the 29th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Frank de Boer. Jan Wessel made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Kip William sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Robin Boelens made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the The Underdogs defense, Leonard Lamczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Wessel. The The Underdogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Wessel should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Iustin Hațegan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Hațegan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Aritza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Hațegan got free with Blas Aritza in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip William in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Cantero came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Leonard Lamczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Cantero in the 71st minute of the match. Osvaldo Cantero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Wessel came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by La Acade's Leonard Lamczyk. But to his dismay, Leonard Lamczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jan Wessel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Lamczyk went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Alejandro Vistruario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Boelens in the 90th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Piearres Olalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Acade's Blas Aritza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Cantero in the 93rd minute of play. The Underdogs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
