U21 Hungary were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Berni FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adorján Havasi took the corner. Alfréd Kállay had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Viktor Bodrogi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 90 minutes into the game, U21 Hungary's Károly Cseke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfréd Kállay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berni FC's goalkeeper Alfréd Kállay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. U21 Hungary's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
