Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wanderson Pombal got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Wanderson Pombal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yuri da Cunha. Wanderson Pombal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Canteranos Fc's Rosario Escarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Vianna in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Vianna in the 9th minute of play forced Canteranos Fc's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Pombal in the 11th minute of play. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Canteranos Fc's Rosario Escarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 19th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Olivedos's corner Luisinho Ceresso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosario Escarza quite easily take care of the ball. Rosario Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Abel de Godoi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Canteranos Fc's Rosario Escarza. Rosario Escarza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Novaes made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cássio Ferraz immediately put the ball in play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivedos's goalkeeper Yuri da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wanderson Pombal took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri da Cunha. Yuri da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rosario Escarza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel de Godoi went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Canteranos Fc's Rosario Escarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Sampaio in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel de Godoi was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Wanderson Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri da Cunha. Olivedos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Magno Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rosario Escarza made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olivedos's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosario Escarza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yuri da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Pombal in the 83rd minute of play. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Canteranos Fc's Wanderson Pombal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 minutes Olivedos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonides Trarigo who took care of the corner kick. When Tony Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olivedos's protests and gave Tony Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. Tony Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olivedos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Canteranos Fc.
