The referee ignored SC Farense's protests and gave Afonso Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, SC Farense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Matias in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürsel Aksel in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Gürsel Aksel put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guido Herrera. In the 13th minute, Erik Allikmäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gürsel Aksels short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Guido Herrera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Serkan Kocaman could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Guido Herrera however easily saved by the left post. Basmane Texas were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after SC Farense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Borys Budarz took the corner. Guido Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Allikmäe in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, SC Farense's goalkeeper Guido Herrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürsel Aksel. Thanks to some nice moves Gürsel Aksel could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Guido Herrera however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when SC Farense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermano Novais didn't get a good kick on the ball. 克鲁李 Caan hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Salvador Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Guido Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Allikmäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when SC Farense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Basmane Texas's Borys Budarz tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Basmane Texas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Borys Budarz in the 41st minute. Basmane Texas's Borys Budarz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guido Herrera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benedito Cerqueira hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Gürsel Aksel came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guido Herrera could save by the left post. Guido Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Aksel in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Gürsel Aksel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Herrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Vasconcelos to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürsel Aksel in the 53rd minute of play forced SC Farense's goalkeeper Guido Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Armani made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Grigoris Bikakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Franco Armani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guido Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Aksel in the 64th minute of play. SC Farense made a substitution. Sabino Telinhos replaced Afonso Vasconcelos. 71 minutes in the game Diego Leme did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Benedito Cerqueira. Erik Allikmäe kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Basmane Texas's Ignatios Ksiromeritis was substituted for Gürsel Aksel. Ignatios Ksiromeritis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Herrera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Farense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulvi Gencal was slow to take the kick. During this time Basmane Texas's players had a chance to rest. Basmane Texas's Ulvi Gencal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guido Herrera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guido Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatios Ksiromeritis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignatios Ksiromeritis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Herrera having to make a save. Guido Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatios Ksiromeritis, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the SC Farense defense, Ignatios Ksiromeritis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Herrera. The SC Farense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Herrera should have stopped the shot. Guido Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatios Ksiromeritis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Leme made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Basmane Texas's Erik Allikmäe. In the 94thth minute of the game Ignatios Ksiromeritis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Farense's Guido Herrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Franco Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Domingos. Basmane Texas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
