The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ignatius Casasola made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ronaldinho Fenomeno sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignatius Casasola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. After 9 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Max Möllgren. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Ignatius Casasola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Ronaldinho Fenomeno took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ignatius Casasola to make any attempt to save it. 31 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's Ronaldinho Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignatius Casasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garanhão do SUL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santos Rallo was slow to take the kick. During this time AS Pikachuzim's players had a chance to rest. AS Pikachuzim's Santos Rallo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ignatius Casasola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cassiano Telinhos tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ignatius Casasola. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-0 in the 33rd minute. Ignatius Casasola was a little too slow when Ronaldinho Fenomeno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 5-0. Torcato Rebocho might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hristofor Borchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torcato Rebocho ran back to his position shaking his head. Ronaldinho Fenomeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ignatius Casasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ronaldinho Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ignatius Casasola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldinho Fenomeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ignatius Casasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hristofor Borchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Roriz in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, AS Pikachuzim's Hristofor Borchev got control of the ball when Edgar Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Roriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Hristofor Borchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AS Pikachuzim made a substitution. Luciano Sarmento replaced Sílvio Caca-Rato. In the 66th minute, Adriano Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Obafemi Fabiani replaced André Roriz. Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga was substituted for Edgar Costa. The supporters of AS Pikachuzim booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wiliam Furtado struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ignatius Casasola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Pikachuzim. Ignatius Casasola came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by AS Pikachuzim's Arif Oğuz Semdin. But to his dismay, Arif Oğuz Semdin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Obafemi Fabiani came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Garanhão do SUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Obafemi Fabiani couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Leizarraga in the 94th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Hristofor Borchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Guimarães. When the referee ended the match the AS Pikachuzim players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
