Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blar McJames took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ás Ronaldo had several of the Shanlaragh AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Brennan Coyle as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Madison booed when Shanlaragh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry McGlynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Madison's Mete Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brennan Coyle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Brennan Coyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ás Ronaldo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Mete Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Shanlaragh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breanainn Myler to maneuver through the defense. Brennan Coyle made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mete Gol sent off a good shot on target. After 40 minutes of play, Madison's Mete Gol made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brennan Coyle was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Mete Gol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brennan Coyle, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ás Ronaldo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ás Ronaldo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brennan Coyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 56th minute of the match Barry McGlynn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barry McGlynn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 56 played minutes Shanlaragh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Barry McGlynn. Mete Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shanlaragh AFC's Brennan Coyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Gol in the 59th minute of play. Brennan Coyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 70 minutes into the match, Mete Gol notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Shanlaragh AFC's Brennan Coyle. Brennan Coyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mete Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brennan Coyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Gol in the 78th minute of the match. After 88 minutes, Mete Gol made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Shanlaragh AFC's Brennan Coyle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Brennan Coyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Ladva in the 91st minute of play. When Henri Ladva came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Madison fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henri Ladva couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the game, Gill Kelly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shanlaragh AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madison the free kick. Madison's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
