In the 9th match minute, Socavon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhu Bin Xi to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Deilmison van Basten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 13 minutes of play, Socavon FC's Ermengol Alberete made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sindo Porregimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermengol Alberete in the 25th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sindo Porregimon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes Socavon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Unax Mudarra who took care of the corner kick. 32 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goalkeeper Sindo Porregimon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. Rodriguinho Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Dobilas in the 34th minute of play. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sindo Porregimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Zhu Bin Xi made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ermengol Alberete. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermengol Alberete to make the kick off. Wiktor Dobilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Sousa having to interfere. If Denílson Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Socavon FC made a substitution. Jacindo Oria replaced Thomás Pollack. Sindo Porregimon came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Socavon FC's Intxixu Huarte was substituted for Ermengol Alberete. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deilmison van Basten didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes of play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sindo Porregimon was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Deilmison van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 78th minute of play forced Socavon FC's goalkeeper Sindo Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Intxixu Huarte in the 79th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Intxixu Huarte in the 81st minute. Sindo Porregimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 83rd minute of the match. Deilmison van Basten kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Peña went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Rodriguinho Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Furgal in the 93rd minute of play. Enrique Peña came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodriguinho Sousa could save by the left post.
