The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Vito during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Malmo booed when Tehuelches AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malmo's Harry Brolin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Malmo's Per-Oskar Ahlstedt in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tehuelches AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ramon Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Ahlstedt in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Narciso Peio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Simon Fanström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Tehuelches AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eugen Kohútik hit a great ball. The supporters of Tehuelches AFC booed when Malmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Almqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Peio in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tehuelches AFC's Alvise Urbani got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Malmo's zone, Narciso Peio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Fanström came out of the goal and Narciso Peio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Malmo booed when Tehuelches AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Kohútik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Harry Brolin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Narciso Peio came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Tehuelches AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Peio couldn't finish the play. After the first half Tehuelches AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Oskar Ahlstedt made a kick off. Narciso Peio came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simon Fanström could save by the left post. In the 64th minute, Douglas Almqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Alvise Urbani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Tehuelches AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Vito. Matthias Blom hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Malmo's Simon Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Peio in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Leonides Todor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Malmo booed when Tehuelches AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Malmo's goalkeeper Simon Fanström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Peio. When Malmo's Per-Oskar Ahlstedt in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Tehuelches AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tehuelches AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
