An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Elija in the 10th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Armando Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Yang kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Hu Jian Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astralis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hu Jian Yi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 played minutes Astralis FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Elija. Tzolo Pisarski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Vermudo in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Gregorio Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Astralis FC booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Peng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Koole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias Koole to make the kick off. The Astralis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tzolo Pisarski should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Korneliusz Cwojdak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tzolo Pisarski was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Armando Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Erwin Levet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Astralis FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
