Igor Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Butylin in the 9th minute of play. Konstantin Butylin might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konstantin Butylin ran back to his position shaking his head. Dal 3ello's Igor Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Dal 3ello from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Konstantin Butylin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Igor Taffarel. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 25th minute, Ediberto Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantin Butylin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Igor Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gladiator FC's Elpidio Bilintx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Dal Bello in the 27th minute of play. Elpidio Bilintx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Dal Bello in the 29th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Gladiator FC's Konstantin Butylin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Carlo Taranto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Taffarel having to interfere. When Konstantin Butylin came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Gladiator FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantin Butylin couldn't finish the play. Dal 3ello made a substitution. Acácio Magalhães replaced Natan Lamonica. Felice Tiberio hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Konstantin Butylin made the kick off in the second half. Dal 3ello's Igor Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Taranto in the 54th minute of play. Igor Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Butylin in the 55th minute of play. Elpidio Bilintx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Magalhães in the 56th minute of play. When Konstantin Butylin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Gladiator FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantin Butylin couldn't finish the play. Gladiator FC's Vaggelis Mitsiou was substituted for Konstantin Butylin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Dal Bello got free with Elpidio Bilintx in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronaldo Dal Bello's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elpidio Bilintx firmly grabbed it by the left post. Igor Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 71st minute of play. Felipe Dal Bello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Bilintx having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Dal 3ello got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Britto. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when Dal 3ello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Gustavo Peralta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Taranto in the 85th minute of play forced Dal 3ello's goalkeeper Igor Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Gladiator FC's Vaggelis Mitsiou made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Igor Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Taranto, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dal 3ello players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gladiator FC.
