Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aquiles Gana got the match started through his kick off. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Seremetis in the 5th minute of play. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Marley in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Gana came free, but Akis Sarafis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Bob Marley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Ajax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Gana in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akis Sarafis saved AFC Ajax from getting behind. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Aquiles Gana sped through AFC Ajax's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Akis Sarafis. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Gana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akis Sarafis was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the game, Mikolaj Felenak threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC Ajax's German Sarracino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Bob Marley made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bob Marley made a precise shot to the right of Dražen Ladić. AC Morena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After having played for 55 minutes, Bob Marley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Marley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristoforo Labate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Akis Sarafis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Ajax's Akis Sarafis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Gana in the 59th minute of play. If Aquiles Gana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Gana took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akis Sarafis. Akis Sarafis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. When AFC Ajax's Markos Seremetidis in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Álvaro Fonseca hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Akis Sarafis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Labate in the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to AFC Ajax getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Aureo Morera hit a great ball. In the 91st minute of the match Jerzy Piwowarski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akis Sarafis skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, AFC Ajax's Dražen Ladić threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Markos Seremetidis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute Aquiles Gana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Sarafis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Morena were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
