Odysseus Lindenmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Buffone, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 10th minute Edmílson Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hong Xun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Arne Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Zhang Hong Xun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. Narcis Druță hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Emilio Buffone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iosif Vornic took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zhang Hong Xun. Zhang Hong Xun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Odysseus Lindenmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Buffone went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Iosif Vornic took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Zhang Hong Xun to make any attempt to save it. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emilio Buffone got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Odysseus Lindenmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Buffone, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emilio Buffone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Odysseus Lindenmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Anfilogino Furia might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Odysseus Lindenmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anfilogino Furia ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Fire Devils's Falko Domini was substituted for Edmílson Gaúcho. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Buffone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emilio Buffone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Odysseus Lindenmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Mitja Wollstadt was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Old BaoBaB Accademy booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitja Wollstadt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Emilio Buffone notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Fire Devils's Odysseus Lindenmann. Odysseus Lindenmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Emilio Buffone kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Odysseus Lindenmann. That made the score 2-5 in the 64 minute of play. Odysseus Lindenmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Buffone in the 67th minute of play. When Olof Palm fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fire Devils's protests and gave Olof Palm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Olof Palm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Olof Palm hit a great ball. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Robert Pirès shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Odysseus Lindenmann but with some difficulty. Anfilogino Furia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when Old BaoBaB Accademy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Buffone didn't get a good kick on the ball. 陆政俊 hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, 陆政俊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Odysseus Lindenmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Buffone, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Emilio Buffone came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Old BaoBaB Accademy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Buffone couldn't finish the play. Zhang Hong Xun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falko Domini in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Old BaoBaB Accademy's goal looked a bit too open when Falko Domini came free, but Zhang Hong Xun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Old BaoBaB Accademy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
