The corner led to Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Matas in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Davison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Taube didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olli Fiedler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robby Van Steen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Robert Davison made a huge save. Robert Davison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Matas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Marcial Iigo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Olavarria FC's Thys Lenoir quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Michel Hendrickx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Davison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Matas in the 41st minute of play. Thys Lenoir made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sportivo Luan Toro's Alberto Fidencio. Sportivo Luan Toro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Mauro Kotlar scored to the left of an out of position Robert Davison, making the score, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olli Fiedler to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Hendrickx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Olli Fiedler. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olli Fiedler in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Sportivo Luan Toro were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Olavarria FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sergius Ramus took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Olavarria FC's goalie and right to Zuri Castillejo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Olavarria FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 81 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Lore. Robert Davison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 83rd minute of play. If Catalino Rivarola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Jo Barone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Justino Roland notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Olavarria FC's Michel Hendrickx. Michel Hendrickx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sportivo Luan Toro were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Olavarria FC to leave the ground with a draw.
