The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Sándor Czakó came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Vérsárkány SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sándor Czakó couldn't finish the play. In the 7th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Bertiz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sándor Czakó in the 8th minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Eron Reguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sándor Czakó hit a great ball. The supporters of Vérsárkány SE booed when Penuel Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Mielgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Diego Osorio. 16 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sándor Czakó came free, but Eron Reguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pál Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramos Cuyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Ramos Cuyar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vérsárkány SE's Pál Simon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lajos Kárpáti hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramos Cuyar in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pál Simon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Andrés Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bátor Tigris in the 43rd minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Eron Reguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Benedek Soós hit a great ball. After the first half Penuel Football Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sándor Czakó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eron Reguer having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Lajos Kárpáti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vérsárkány SE and the Penuel Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Vérsárkány SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Kárpáti to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Lajos Kárpáti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vérsárkány SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Lajos Kárpáti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eron Reguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Niceto Ovalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Aldo Castrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lajos Bács received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eron Reguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Erubiel Sesse made a precise shot to the right of Pál Simon. Vérsárkány SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Pál Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramos Cuyar in the 95th minute of the match.
