In the 15th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes of play, Bajen Mucho FF's Håkan Alströmer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Édouard Mendy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Leif Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Célio Albuquerque shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ove Hjeltman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wictor Ahlgren in the 23rd minute of play forced 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Fabrício Brunovskis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Törnqvist came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ulysses de Senna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ove Hjeltman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Ahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseu Alagoano made a kick off.
