If Zachary Bentkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hieronim Brataniec's late challenge caught a E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hieronim Brataniec helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Hieronim Brataniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AKS Chorzów's zone, Jorginho Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dariusz Ziombkowski came out of the goal and Jorginho Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Anundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes AKS Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Emil Wielkopolski. Dariusz Ziombkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Cunha in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Anundsson came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Ziombkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Anundsson in the 28th minute of the match. Dariusz Ziombkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erberk Tunçkol, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Erberk Tunçkol notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski. Dariusz Ziombkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dariusz Ziombkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Bernardinho Vaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski. AKS Chorzów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardinho Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 67 minutes, Jorginho Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E. C. Flamengo Paraibano and the AKS Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Jorginho Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in E. C. The referee ignored AKS Chorzów's protests and gave Borys Chrobak a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AKS Chorzów's Borys Chrobak got a free kick in the 73rd minute. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano made a substitution. Thomás Loureiro replaced Erberk Tunçkol. Albin Anundsson did an outstanding performance 76 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-3 to the right of an irritated Dariusz Ziombkowski in the goal. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Anundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Albin Anundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Anundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Ziombkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albin Anundsson. The supporters of AKS Chorzów booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AKS Chorzów the free kick. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vivaldo Cunha hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Andrzej Solarek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andrzej Solarek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andrzej Solarek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 87 minutes into the game, one of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mané Barreto had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Milosz Huk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-3 came in the 90th minute when Milosz Huk all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Mané Barreto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Loureiro in the 94th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AKS Chorzów's Milosz Huk got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over E. C. Flamengo Paraibano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AKS Chorzów throughout the match.
