Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Palermo's Donato Vachon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Emilio Munio got control of the ball when Donato Vachon tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 7 minutes on the clock, Ciriaco Mateus commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Bangla Desh Fobal Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palermo:s goal. Rafael Hondo scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Munio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bangla Desh Fobal Club's zone, Dionisio Oton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Munio came out of the goal and Dionisio Oton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Emilio Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Hondo in the 21st minute of play. Emilio Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Hondo in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Vicente Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bangla Desh Fobal Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Ricart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Vachon struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Emilio Munio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. 29 minutes into the match, Bangla Desh Fobal Club's goalkeeper Emilio Munio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Vachon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Isauro in the 32nd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Emilio Munio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bangla Desh Fobal Club from getting a goal against them. Emilio Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Ongile during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Vicente Ricart. But to his dismay, Vicente Ricart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

Vicente Ricart received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Lekubegi came out and tried to block the shot, but Vicente Ricart slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 55th minute. In the 58th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Birila to maneuver through the defense. Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Emilio Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Vachon in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Bangla Desh Fobal Club booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Lekubegi made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Vicente Ricart sent off a good shot on target. Emilio Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Hondo in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Ricart got free with Enrique Lekubegi in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato Vachon scored 3-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Munio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Enrique Lekubegi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Emilio Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Vachon in the 80th minute of play. If Vicente Ricart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bangla Desh Fobal Club booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Lekubegi having to interfere. In the 91st minute Angelo Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Ricarts short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Enrique Lekubegi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
