Clodoveo Otsando started the match with the kick off. Francisco Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Otsando in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pancha Futbol Club's zone, Aureliano Quirce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Elazar came out of the goal and Aureliano Quirce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Orlando Castulo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Clodoveo Otsando hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Melchor Joachim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florentino Elazar having to make a save. In the 19th minute, Melchor Joachim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florentino Elazar. The goal made the score 2-0. After 22 minutes of play, Pancha Futbol Club's Dante Ibar made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Chabier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Florentino Elazar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Melchor Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Castulo got free with Florentino Elazar in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melchor Joachim in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Elazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Honorio Romildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Dante Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Chabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Castulo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Imperio Académico's Orlando Castulo in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Pancha Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Elazar should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Dante Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Chabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Orlando Castulo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Pancha Futbol Club's Florentino Elazar. Florentino Elazar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leo Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Florentino Elazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Imperio Académico's Orlando Castulo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Elazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When Imperio Académico's Orlando Castulo in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Leo Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Clodoveo Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
