Jim Mitchell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Jamar Maxwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Finn in the 14th minute of play. During the 17th minute of the match Jamar Maxwell completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jamar Maxwell a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Florentino Elazar was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Pedro Finn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Finn really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Finn in the 29th minute of play forced Pancha Futbol Club's goalkeeper Florentino Elazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pedro Finn came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Finn couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Otsando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leon Burr kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Florentino Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Finn in the 61st minute of play. Florentino Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Finn in the 67th minute of the match. Byron Kane lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Clodoveo Otsando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Finn took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Elazar. Florentino Elazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 98th minute of the match, Clodoveo Otsando got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jim Mitchell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santos FC had won after a very even match.
