Yalçın Olgunay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Espigão Steamrollers's Vicente Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artun Şenyurt in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Artun Şenyurt put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Catarinense. In the 34th minute, Espigão Steamrollers's Yuri Paranaense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yalçın Olgunay. Yalçın Olgunay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bülent Ekin hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Kaká came free, but Vicente Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válbson Gaúcho hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emerson Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Ricardo Kaká from a close distance when the talented Vicente Catarinense managed to make a qualified save. Espigão Steamrollers's players were relieved. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artun Şenyurt in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Espigão Steamrollers's zone, Muhsin Taze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Catarinense came out of the goal and Muhsin Taze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Paranaense in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Válter Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yalçın Olgunay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhsin Taze in the 59th minute of the match. Espigão Steamrollers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Artun Şenyurt scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Catarinense, making the score, 2-3. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artun Şenyurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Zézinho Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Yalçın Olgunay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Kaká got free with Vicente Catarinense in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Blue Mountain State were awarded a corner. Uğurcan Tanören went to the cornerflag to take it. 84 minutes into the match, Yuri Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yalçın Olgunay. Blue Mountain State's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Artun Şenyurt might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Catarinense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artun Şenyurt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Yuri Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yalçın Olgunay was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3.
