A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Fausto Cueto hit a great ball. Guillen Mijangos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Samuel Laurentzi rounded Universitario's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Victorio Dino got a free kick in the 19th minute. Silverio Bieito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Papi Saron in the 20th minute of play. Silverio Bieito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Papi Saron in the 23rd minute of the match. Ekialde Viedes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Guillen Mijangos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Mirande came free, but Guillen Mijangos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Frasco in the 42nd minute of play. Guillen Mijangos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Frasco in the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Universitario's Guillen Mijangos got control of the ball when Donato Adrio tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Laurentzi to make the kick off. Guillen Mijangos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Frasco in the 52nd minute of the match. Guillen Mijangos came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Hermosillo FC's Donato Adrio. But to his dismay, Donato Adrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 62nd minute, Marciano Frasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillen Mijangos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Papi Saron scored 4-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Bieito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillen Mijangos came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Hermosillo FC's Donato Adrio. But to his dismay, Donato Adrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Guillen Mijangos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Laurentzi in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Donato Adrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Guillen Mijangos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillen Mijangos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Adrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Hermosillo FC's Conrado Mirande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillen Mijangos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Silverio Bieito made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Papi Saron sent off a good shot on target. Papi Saron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Silverio Bieito made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Adrio came free, but Guillen Mijangos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Universitario's Guillen Mijangos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Mirande in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Marciano Frasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermosillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1.
