Silverio Bieito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Skott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronnys Lärjungar's Ronny Skott got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Adrio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ove Trillkott came out and tried to block the shot, but Donato Adrio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Per-Arne Barck charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Arne Barck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Per-Arne Barck hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ronny Skott's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Bieito was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Hermosillo FC's Silverio Bieito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Skott in the 19th minute of play. Ove Trillkott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Frasco got free with Ove Trillkott in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Tönnberg came free, but Silverio Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Ronny Skott made a precise shot to the right of Silverio Bieito. Hermosillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Emanuel Snell came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ronnys Lärjungar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Snell couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when Hermosillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Laurentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Trillkott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronny Skott to make the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Conrado Mirande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermosillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Mirande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronnys Lärjungar's Bengt-Åke Clementsson was substituted for Peder Tönnberg. Ronnys Lärjungar made a substitution. Eric Ivarsson replaced Wiktor Löfkvist. Bengt-Åke Clementsson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Silverio Bieito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ronnys Lärjungar. After 62 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Snell. Emanuel Snell's late challenge caught a Hermosillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Snell helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Frasco in the 71st minute of play forced Ronnys Lärjungar's goalkeeper Ove Trillkott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Skott might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silverio Bieito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronny Skott ran back to his position shaking his head. If Bengt-Åke Clementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Ronny Skott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Bieito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ronny Skott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Silverio Bieito made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Bengt-Åke Clementsson got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Ronnys Lärjungar defense, Donato Adrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Trillkott. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Trillkott should have stopped the shot. Silverio Bieito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronny Skott's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Hermosillo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
