Laurentino Vilaverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tello AFC's Emilio Colas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Valadão. That made the score 1-1 after 8 minutes of play. Justino Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Domingos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Paublo saved Tello AFC from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Domingos came free, but Donato Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Fundação Marques dos Reis got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Flores. Rafael Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tello AFC's Donato Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Nel in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Tello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Baristo. Rafael Nel, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Donato Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nivaldo Lobo in the 38th minute of the match. Donato Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Nel in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Marco Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the game, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Rúben Pinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Paublo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute of the match Rafael Nel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Paublo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Sandro Lage got a free kick in the 89th minute.
