Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aygün Kambay in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Leonardo Estavan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águilas Poblanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆ SUDEN ☆ İvrindiSpor the free kick. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Leonardo Estavan hit a great ball. The supporters of ☆ SUDEN ☆ İvrindiSpor booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acar Akkın in the 17th minute of play. Freddy Mitxaut lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. In the 27th minute, Aygün Kambay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabricio Stephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Froila in the 32nd minute of play forced ☆ SUDEN ☆ İvrindiSpor's goalkeeper Doğaner Menderes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğaner Menderes was a little too slow when Benigno Froila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Benigno Froila succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 35th playminute. 38 minutes into the game, Turgut Mecit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fabricio Stephen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabricio Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acar Akkın in the 41st minute of play. Fabricio Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acar Akkın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğaner Menderes came out of the goal and Raimundo Ladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aygün Kambay to strike the kick off in the second half. 69 minutes into the match, Roberto Mateus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doğaner Menderes. ☆ SUDEN ☆ İvrindiSpor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Mateus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Justo Sagrario replaced Elpidio Chayo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kılıç Rekin during the 74th minute. Fabricio Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aygün Kambay in the 90th minute of the match. Águilas Poblanas's Roberto Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Gustavo Chabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ☆ SUDEN ☆ İvrindiSpor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
