The referee ignored Academia FC's protests and gave Federico Nicholas a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Nicholas. Angel Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Müller in the 18th minute of play. Academia FC's Federico Nicholas got his second yellow card of the match in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling János Dala in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Etxeberri prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The audience was convinced that János Dala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Etxeberri was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
