An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Raymundo in the 27th minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Victor Ciociu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Raymundo came free, but Victor Ciociu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Raymundo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Ciociu having to make a save. After having played for 46 minutes, Eloy Raymundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Raymundo in the 53rd minute of play. Victor Ciociu came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Hermoso Beach's Eloy Raymundo. But to his dismay, Eloy Raymundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Monte Hermoso Beach left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Progresul Pitesti.
