MOEBIO's Aquiles Castulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Penha in the 24th minute of play. Emanuel Mel's late challenge caught a Chelsicha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Mel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, MOEBIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Mel to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Paulo Renato Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Castulo. MOEBIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Renato Penha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Chelsicha's Dedê Terra got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, MOEBIO's Omar Cedro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 37th minute, MOEBIO's Victoriano Silban ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredinho Pereira. Alfredinho Pereira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Hulberto got free with Alfredinho Pereira in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st match minute, Chelsicha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Emanuel Mel from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Alfredinho Pereira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when MOEBIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Pere didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho de Godoi came free, but Aquiles Castulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bebeto Reno made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, MOEBIO's Humberto Hulberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The audience was convinced that Bebeto Reno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Pereira was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Sebastião Paraense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aquiles Castulo. The goal made the score 5-3. In the 69th match minute, MOEBIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Mateo to maneuver through the defense. Omar Cedro kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Victoriano Silban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho Pereira came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by MOEBIO's Humberto Hulberto. But to his dismay, Humberto Hulberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-3. After 84 minutes, Renan França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelsicha and the MOEBIO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Chelsicha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan França to maneuver through the defense. Bebeto Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, MOEBIO's Bebeto Reno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-3. In the 92nd minute Paulo Renato Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Castulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chelsicha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MOEBIO.
