Aurelio Tristan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! 15 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Agustin Pagomari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Moura. Lucas Moura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Pagomari having to make a save. Camilo Palben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Remo Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Moura in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Agustin Pagomari, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Tabb during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hector Tabb kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Rodrigo Nestor got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Corderun to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Agustin Pagomari got control of the ball when Lucas Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jeferson Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeferson Vianna to make the kick off. After 66 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Corderun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Palben in the 68th minute of play forced ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Remo Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remo Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Palben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Remo Amaral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benedicto Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Hector Tabb suffered a concussion after 96 minutes and had to leave the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ✪ XV de Umarizal fully deserved thier win.
