In the 18th minute Ruben Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 江阳希 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrilete Cósmico FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after 江苏菜鸟队's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aristides Dayam took the corner. Ruben Maurin really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 肖风奕 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
