Yan Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Mederi went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Mederi in the 8th minute of play forced RÖK's goalkeeper Yan Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Characate FC were awarded a corner. Primitivo Brun went to the cornerflag to take it. Primitivo Brun made a great header on Characate FC's corner, it was just that RÖK's Yan Pirani managed to reach the ball for a save. 11 minutes into the match, Marcos Mederi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RÖK's Yan Pirani. Yan Pirani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Elivélton Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Txanton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Cruz in the 20th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Mederi in the 26th minute of play forced RÖK's goalkeeper Yan Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Proença came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Characate FC's Benjamin Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Characate FC from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Barros Schelloto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Txanton hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Yan Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Characate FC's Marcos Mederi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Yan Pirani came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Characate FC's Marcos Mederi. But to his dismay, Marcos Mederi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Marcos Mederi made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, RÖK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Cruz to maneuver through the defense. When Characate FC's Guillermo Barros Schelloto in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RÖK's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Mederi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Loco Palermo took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan Pirani. Yan Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 64th minute Hamílton Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Jacinto's late challenge caught a Characate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Jacinto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Adelino Jacinto got a free kick in the 66th minute. Characate FC's Primitivo Brun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for RÖK. With a little luck, RÖK's Yan Pirani got control of the ball when Marcos Mederi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yan Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Palermo in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Júlio Varela got a free kick in the 75th minute. Yan Pirani made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Marcos Mederi sent off a good shot on target. After 77 played minutes, Characate FC's Primitivo Brun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yan Pirani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Characate FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Loco Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Characate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Palermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Mederi in the 80th minute of play forced RÖK's goalkeeper Yan Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Mederi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yan Pirani having to make a save. Benjamin Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Marquez in the 86th minute of play. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Marquez in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Characate FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RÖK throughout the match.
