When Sven-Oskar Trillkott fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karlsborg's protests and gave Sven-Oskar Trillkott a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Trillkott to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Ted Lenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yngve Thidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Ted Lenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Håkansson was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiktor Karlstedt to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Ted Lenberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mattias Håkansson. Ted Lenberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 65 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Borre. The supporters of Forsa IF booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Borre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Strömbom, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 77th minute, Yngve Thidén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forsa IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Mattias Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ted Lenberg sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Västerberg came free, but Mattias Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Västerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mattias Håkansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Lenberg in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Västerberg in the 95th minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
