Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Santa Luis made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of The Old Boys booed when Dragões Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Santa Luis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dragões Barbudos FC's Vicente Fantini didn't even have to move. 7 minutes into the game, Dragões Barbudos FC's Ramón Leão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Bidari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vicente Fantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Leoiar in the 11th minute. Vinicio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Feliciano Leoiar came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicente Fantini could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benê Favoretto during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Benê Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Dragões Barbudos FC's Vicente Fantini got control of the ball when Feliciano Leoiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ramón Leão fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragões Barbudos FC's protests and gave Ramón Leão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Dragões Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Leão to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Fantini was a little too slow when Feliciano Leoiar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Vicente Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santa Luis. When The Old Boys's Santa Luis in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragões Barbudos FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Dragões Barbudos FC's Vicente Fantini got control of the ball when Aquilino Lauren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernani Linares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vinicio Bidari. The Old Boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Peres to strike the kick off in the second half. If Santa Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Leoiar scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santa Luis in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Feliciano Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorian Queiroz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jacobo Gomesano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Dragões Barbudos FC's Vicente Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Leoiar in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Santa Luis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Fantini. Dragões Barbudos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santa Luis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. But to his dismay, Santa Luis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After some careless play in the Dragões Barbudos FC defense, Jairo Lizar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Fantini. The Dragões Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Fantini should have stopped the shot. Vicente Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santa Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Santa Luis made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Fantini. Dragões Barbudos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jairo Lizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Old Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Lizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the The Old Boys players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
