After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Helge Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Lundqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Bordat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, BFC 1982's Abel Bordat got control of the ball when Sofiane Charradi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Torbjörn Högberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abel Bordat. Abel Bordat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Helge Lundqvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Bordat was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when BFC 1982 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Bordat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Högberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Jakue charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Jakue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Enrique Jakue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BFC 1982's Abel Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brahim Charradi in the 33rd minute of play. Abel Bordat was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Helge Lundqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Helge Lundqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helge Lundqvist in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Bordat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brahim Charradi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Jakue kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Torbjörn Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Högberg couldn't finish the play. Augusto Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Abel Bordat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofiane Charradi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Hector Napier took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Max Dahlman to make any attempt to save it. Inocencio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Dahlman having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Högberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Abel Bordat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Max Dahlman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hector Napier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 81 minute of play. Inocencio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Dahlman having to interfere. The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when BFC 1982 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Bortzaioriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goal looked a bit too open when Brahim Charradi came free, but Abel Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BFC 1982's Enrique Jakue got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Enrique Jakue off the ground. After 90 played minutes BFC 1982 got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Jakue. Brahim Charradi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BFC 1982's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
