After some careless play in the Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ defense, Fermin Tauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Laurgain. The Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Laurgain should have stopped the shot. Gaspar Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tomás Bertran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Paulin in the 14th minute of the match. Marciano Paulin took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Bertran. Tomás Bertran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 21 minutes into the match, Devoto club social's goalkeeper Tomás Bertran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Senon. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Tomás Bertran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Devoto club social's Gaspar Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gaspar Jaunzuria charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Jaunzuria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Devoto club social booed when Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Leon Senon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Bertran. Devoto club social's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Senon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 32nd minute, Marciano Paulin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomás Bertran. The goal made the score 4-1. In the 35th minute, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Fermin Weather ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomás Bertran. Tomás Bertran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. In the 38th minute, Leon Senon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 minutes of play, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Leon Senon made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Bertran was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 played minutes Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Americo Cordaryal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Paulin was the one to do the kick off. Tomás Bertran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Senon, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lara Croft during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
