In the 41stth minute of the game Lucjan Popowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beira Alta's 钱常志 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucjan Popowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but 钱常志 made a huge save. In the 46th match minute, Beira Alta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 方兴沙 to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Popowicz in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 钱常志 saved Beira Alta from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilson Severiano to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, 方兴沙 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Lucjan Popowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amelinium Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Popowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beira Alta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
