Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugeniusz Kaminski in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Moisés Álvares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Cerqueira to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Kaminski came free, but Adelino Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Eugeniusz Kaminski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Braga's Adelino Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Pinho in the 16th minute of play. Benedykt Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Monteiro in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Rafal Zawada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Monteiro in the 22nd minute of play forced MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalkeeper Benedykt Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Cerqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Álvares to maneuver through the defense. Adam Radziszewski, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benedykt Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, MZ Wodzisław Śląski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Bury to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, SC Braga's Ricardo Vasques tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Braga's Adelino Coelho got control of the ball when Boruc Szostak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Cassiano Lessa got a free kick in the 46th minute. Adelino Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Kaminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Monteiro came free, but Benedykt Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiktor Bury hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rafal Zawada hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Pinho in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes MZ Wodzisław Śląski's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardo Vasques who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ricardo Vasques almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel did a great save. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Álvares in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Vasques. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save MZ Wodzisław Śląski from getting a goal against them. Cassiano Lessa charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cassiano Lessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cassiano Lessa hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Fabrício Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Braga played a much better game than MZ Wodzisław Śląski and deserved their victory. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
