Ricardo Alava started the match with the kick off. After 4th play minutes Ricardo Alava shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Reynaldo Cardoso and just under the crossbar into goal. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jama Balanza was slow to take the kick. During this time RockCity F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led RockCity F.C.'s Ricardo Alava to fire away a dangerous shot which Reynaldo Cardoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oliver Khan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 20th match minute, RockCity F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damián Díaz to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roosevelt Guerreiro during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Roosevelt Guerreiro hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Ricardo Alava put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Reynaldo Cardoso. Jama Balanza scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Cardoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Alava in the 34th minute of play forced SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Ricardo Alava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute Manoel Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Khan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes Manoel Correia rounded RockCity F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

62 minutes into the match, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matamba Arenal. Ricardo Alava had several of the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Reynaldo Cardoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. 65 minutes into the match, Ricardo Alava dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reynaldo Cardoso, 1-8. A collision led to SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nildo Messias hit a great ball. Reynaldo Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Alava in the 68th minute. Reynaldo Cardoso came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by RockCity F.C.'s Jama Balanza. But to his dismay, Jama Balanza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. If Marco Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 74 in the game by Ricardo Alava from a close distance when the talented Reynaldo Cardoso managed to make a qualified save. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's players were relieved. Reynaldo Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Alava, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a little luck, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Reynaldo Cardoso got control of the ball when Matamba Arenal tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Reynaldo Cardoso managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when RockCity F.C.'s Ricardo Alava fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd minute, Ricardo Alava made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Cardoso. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-10. Jama Balanzas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Reynaldo Cardoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Alava got free with Reynaldo Cardoso in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Alava who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Reynaldo Cardoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reynaldo Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Alava in the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jama Balanza who took care of the corner kick. Jama Balanza made a great header on RockCity F.C.'s corner, it was just that SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Reynaldo Cardoso managed to reach the ball for a save. When Urtun Orcondona fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RockCity F.C.'s protests and gave Urtun Orcondona a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes RockCity F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Urtun Orcondona. Marco Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Khan having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RockCity F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
