Hartmann Futebol Clube's Blasco Macho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Neiva in the 23rd minute of play. Blasco Macho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. But to his dismay, Glauco do Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Blasco Macho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aloísio Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Gonçalo Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Blasco Macho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Santos in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Hartmann Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Inácio Cunha hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Inter de São Paulo lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
