In the 11th minute, Isidoro Mangas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, Tsubasa Ozora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kevan Grange was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 played minutes VILLARREAL UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Mangas. 27 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's goal looked a bit too open when Tsubasa Ozora came free, but Kevan Grange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Tsubasa Ozora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevan Grange. Les diables noirs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tsubasa Ozora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Isidoro Mangas managed to get in a good position for a shot. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Mangas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevan Grange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Tsubasa Ozora put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kevan Grange. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfried Lépinay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kevan Grange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tsubasa Ozora in the 54th minute. Cordaro Ramis got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Les diables noirs's Roger Roque was substituted for Camille Thiéblemont. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfried Lépinay in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Benítez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Benítez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Les diables noirs defense, Tsubasa Ozora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevan Grange. The Les diables noirs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevan Grange should have stopped the shot. Gustave Pierrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Benítez having to interfere. The Les diables noirs manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing VILLARREAL UNITED to win.
