Spectators: 7633 (Terracing: 5726, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 152) Horaţiu Bociort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Horaţiu Bociort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Cantona in the 5th minute of the match. Juha Jokiranta came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by CF REALCipri's Codrin Stan. But to his dismay, Codrin Stan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Erik Cantona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Bociort having to interfere. Veli Siivonen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horaţiu Bociort came out and tried to block the shot, but Veli Siivonen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 10th minute. Manchester United FC's Juha Jokiranta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Calboreanu in the 14th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Erik Cantona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Ozon in the 20th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Juha Jokiranta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horaţiu Bociort stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Cantona's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes CF REALCipri's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pirkka Rautee who took care of the corner kick. 26 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cantona came free, but Horaţiu Bociort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Juha Jokiranta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Veli Siivonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CF REALCipri's Rareș Vulturar got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of CF REALCipri booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martti Helin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Erik Cantona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horaţiu Bociort. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 44th match minute, Manchester United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pirkka Rautee to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Veli Siivonen hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Cantona was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, CF REALCipri's Iosif Iureș dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. In the 58th minute, Rareș Vulturar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Cantona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Horaţiu Bociort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Erik Cantona made a precise shot to the right of Horaţiu Bociort. CF REALCipri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. If Erik Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Veli Siivonen fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United FC's protests and gave Veli Siivonen a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Veli Siivonen. After a defensive mix-up in CF REALCipri's zone, Erik Cantona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horaţiu Bociort came out of the goal and Erik Cantona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Manchester United FC's Erik Cantona in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF REALCipri's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Ozon came free, but Juha Jokiranta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Aalexoaiei hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Manchester United FC's Pirkka Rautee got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manchester United FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CF REALCipri for a fine match.
