The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Metolokos MZ Clube's Yakup Kadri Akbatur made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Andrés Chavez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metolokos MZ Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Romeu Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Yakup Kadri Akbatur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilton Romero got free with Romeu Netto in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrés Chavez hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Metolokos MZ Clube's Yakup Kadri Akbatur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telmo Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a little luck, Metolokos MZ Clube's Romeu Netto got control of the ball when Armandinho Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Evandro Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.A. Francana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metolokos MZ Clube the free kick. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Evandro Lago got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 32 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Lago. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yakup Kadri Akbatur in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Trigo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. Andrés Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Telmo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metolokos MZ Clube's Andrés Chavez got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Yakup Kadri Akbatur notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo. Telmo Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Metolokos MZ Clube getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Yakup Kadri Akbatur hit a great ball. Metolokos MZ Clube's Fabiano Jacinto was substituted for Alfredão da Fonseca. After 50 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues. After 51 minutes of play, Metolokos MZ Clube's Luiz Fábio Braga made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yakup Kadri Akbatur made a kick off. Romeu Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Romeu Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Ramos in the 66th minute of play forced Metolokos MZ Clube's goalkeeper Romeu Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Matheus Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metolokos MZ Clube were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after A.A. Francana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fábio Braga took the corner. In the 92nd minute Wilton Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 95 minutes, Murilo Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metolokos MZ Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes, Serginho Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A. Francana and the Metolokos MZ Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serginho Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Matheus Nascimento hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Romeu Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilton Romero's shot from short distance in the 100th minute. Metolokos MZ Clube played a much better game than A.A. Francana and deserved their victory. The A.A. Francana players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
