When Christian Liknes came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Daustad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Liknes couldn't finish the play. Cazimir Romanescu charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cazimir Romanescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Daustad booed when FC ANC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Romanescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Medrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Liknes in the 39th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Buculeasa made a kick off. If Christian Liknes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Daustad's Christian Liknes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Medrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
