Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) 9 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Nicolo came free, but Nicodim Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Opincaru got free with Ennio Guidoni in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Corna in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Zheng Di Sha came free, but Ennio Guidoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Dino Facchetti got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goalkeeper Ennio Guidoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iurie Bărboianu. Ennio Guidoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Tache in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Del Giudice didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ennio Guidoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Benitez in the 33rd minute. Herminio Benitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ennio Guidoni made a huge save. After 45th play minutes Concetto Nicolo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nicodim Arghirescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Pizzi in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Concetto Nicolo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Filippo Corna made a precise shot to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu. Carpathian Wolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 55th minute, Codrin Aalexoaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Carpathian Wolves defense, Concetto Nicolo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu. The Carpathian Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Arghirescu should have stopped the shot. When Carmine Latini fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merceron United's protests and gave Carmine Latini a yellow card for diving instead. Carmine Latini hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of Merceron United booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Aalexoaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Del Giudice kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ennio Guidoni came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathian Wolves's Herminio Benitez. But to his dismay, Herminio Benitez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Iurie Bărboianu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ennio Guidoni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. During the 89th minute of the match Carmine Latini completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carmine Latini a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carmine Latini hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Concetto Nicolo hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Herminio Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Guidoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
