In the 5th match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Antonelli to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Conti in the 8th minute of play forced ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Emilio Conti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merceron United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Christian Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristoforo Iacomini. That made the score 2-1 after 16 minutes of play. In the 21st minute, Emilio Conti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Durval de Salles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristoforo Iacomini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ reached it. Dráusio Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cristoforo Iacomini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Christian Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cristoforo Iacomini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Eurico Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Iacomini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

After a rather tough play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Jefferson de Sena got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alex De Toni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Christian Mendonça sped through Merceron United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristoforo Iacomini. After a rather tough play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Durval de Salles got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Alex De Toni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Iacomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Alex De Toni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Claudinho Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Durval de Salles hit a great ball. In the 69th match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Marcantonio to maneuver through the defense. Cristoforo Iacomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ennio Marcantonio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆. Christian Mendonça stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristoforo Iacomini. 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Mendonça in the 80th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Cristoforo Iacomini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Merceron United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
