Jesus Poncio hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Ivan Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víglundur von der Schulenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Gigel Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Rolado in the 16th minute of play. Gigel Rânceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Domenec went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ivan Domenec scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Rânceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Ivan Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Ivan Domenec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Rânceanu. Fotbal Club Vaslui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Domenec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Domenec in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Rânceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Andrei Vârjean made the kick off in the second half. Gigel Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Domenec in the 52nd minute of play. Gigel Rânceanu was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Ivan Domenec capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivan Domenec really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. With an all-out effort, Tierra del Fuego FC's Gigel Rânceanu threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Rolado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gigel Rânceanu made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ivan Domenec sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Miguel Rolado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tierra del Fuego FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. 73 minutes into the game, Tierra del Fuego FC's Miguel Rolado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigel Rânceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Gigel Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Rolado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gigel Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Rolado in the 88th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Voiculescu during the 90th minute.
