Eriz Canturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but İlhami Muhittin made a huge save. Ertan Nuralp struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Anatolio Alfaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOCAELİSPOR. 10 minutes into the match, Bastian Coya notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of KOCAELİSPOR's İlhami Muhittin. İlhami Muhittin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Abeluse Flow! After 16 minutes, Sonny Hjeltman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abeluse Flow and the KOCAELİSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Sonny Hjeltman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suphi Sebuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İlhami Muhittin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Hjeltman in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Ertan Nuralp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anatolio Alfaro. Abeluse Flow's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertan Nuralp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. KOCAELİSPOR's İlhami Muhittin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriz Canturri in the 31st minute of play. İlhami Muhittin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Hjeltman in the 32nd minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ertan Nuralp to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Emrullah Sezer. 56 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ramond Casillas came free, but İlhami Muhittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İlhami Muhittin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Coya in the 59th minute of play. Ertan Nuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Anatolio Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Quique Contratas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İlhami Muhittin. KOCAELİSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quique Contratas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ertan Nuralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatolio Alfaro having to interfere. If Ertan Nuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KOCAELİSPOR's Ertan Nuralp got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anatolio Alfaro came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by KOCAELİSPOR's Ertan Nuralp. But to his dismay, Ertan Nuralp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Ertan Nuralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. Kudret Kadrettin replaced Kılıçhan Kayacan. The audience was convinced that Ertan Nuralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anatolio Alfaro was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KOCAELİSPOR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
