Suphi Sebuk might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Martino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Suphi Sebuk ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Ertan Nuralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Martino was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Ertan Nuralp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Ertan Nuralp ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Martino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Nuralp in the 62nd minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Sportivo Italiano! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for KOCAELİSPOR. Ertan Nuralp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rafael Martino. 3-0. Natalio Louis hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Club Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ertan Nuralp struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rafael Martino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOCAELİSPOR. KOCAELİSPOR's Rüknettin Nasih was substituted for Suphi Sebuk. Club Sportivo Italiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Club Sportivo Italiano's Natalio Louis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by İlhami Muhittin but with some difficulty. Rafael Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüknettin Nasih in the 96th minute of play. When Ertan Nuralp came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the KOCAELİSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertan Nuralp couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Sportivo Italiano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KOCAELİSPOR.
