The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, El Golden Volvió!'s goal looked a bit too open when Ertan Nuralp came free, but Franco Costanzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on KOCAELİSPOR's corner İlkan Serdinç fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franco Costanzo quite easily take care of the ball. With 38 minutes on the clock, Hakkı Devrim Zümer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Claudio Biaggio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ertan Nuralp took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Costanzo. Franco Costanzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The El Golden Volvió! players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KOCAELİSPOR were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ertan Nuralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Biaggio came free, but İlhami Muhittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, El Golden Volvió!'s Franco Costanzo got control of the ball when Ertan Nuralp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute Claudio Biaggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlhami Muhittin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's İlkan Serdinç got a free kick in the 57th minute. İlhami Muhittin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Biaggio in the 61st minute of play. Franco Costanzo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by KOCAELİSPOR's Ertan Nuralp. But to his dismay, Ertan Nuralp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 70 minutes into the match, El Golden Volvió!'s goalkeeper Franco Costanzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ertan Nuralp. In the 71st minute, Ertan Nuralp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KOCAELİSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. El Golden Volvió!'s Franco Costanzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save El Golden Volvió! from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute Kılıçhan Kayacan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Costanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KOCAELİSPOR's Kudret Kadrettin was substituted for Kılıçhan Kayacan. Ertan Nuralp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Franco Costanzo made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Ertan Nuralp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franco Costanzo. Ertan Nuralp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Ertan Nuralp might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Costanzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
