Ricard Campbell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theofilos Touboulis in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricard Campbell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Bolaños kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Anastasios Perakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Alcázar in the 20th minute of the match. Soulis Partalis struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ricard Campbell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympiacos FC. 26 minutes into the game, Olympiacos FC's Theofilos Touboulis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricard Campbell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theofilos Touboulis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Soulis Partalis might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricard Campbell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Soulis Partalis ran back to his position shaking his head. Cabildo FC's Ricard Campbell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Cabildo FC from getting a goal against them. Ricard Campbell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofilos Touboulis in the 58th minute of play. Lazaros Tsakrilis kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Soriano Budinich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasios Perakis. Olympiacos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Soriano Budinich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Olympiacos FC's Anastasios Perakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soriano Budinich in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nikiforos Valaoras hit a great ball. Anastasios Perakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Alcázar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Soulis Partalis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympiacos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Anastasios Perakis came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabildo FC's Soriano Budinich. But to his dismay, Soriano Budinich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Cabildo FC made a substitution. Mary Pan replaced Leandro Ribera. The Olympiacos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olympiacos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
