The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Olympiacos FC's Panos Ntountas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisc Trăilă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Panos Ntountas got a free kick in the 7th minute. Francisc Trăilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Ntountas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Francisc Trăilă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xosé Lim went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Giorgos Soufleris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympiacos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Romanian Gods™'s zone, Panos Ntountas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Trăilă came out of the goal and Panos Ntountas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Xosé Lim notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Romanian Gods™'s Francisc Trăilă. Francisc Trăilă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panos Ntountas scored 0-7 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisc Trăilă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Romanian Gods™ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Irinel Poenaru hit a great ball. Francisc Trăilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofilos Touboulis in the 41st minute of play. Romanian Gods™'s Francisc Trăilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theofilos Touboulis in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Romanian Gods™'s goal looked a bit too open when Xosé Lim came free, but Francisc Trăilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Panos Ntountas notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Romanian Gods™'s Francisc Trăilă. Francisc Trăilă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Theofilos Touboulis made the kick off in the second half. Romanian Gods™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Logofeteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasios Perakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panos Ntountas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Francisc Trăilă made a huge save. Francisc Trăilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofilos Touboulis in the 62nd minute of play. Theofilos Touboulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Trăilă having to interfere. Francisc Trăilă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olympiacos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
